Retail traders are taught to stay away from sharp moves in the market with terms used in the industry such as catching a falling knife to scare you.

Fact is, the biggest profits are made by doing the exact opposite. By positioning yourself correctly, you not only increase your reward potential but you will find most often that your trades go into profit right off the bat with minimal risk and zero drawdown.​

That's the beauty of trading with a scalper's mindset.

A common misconception about scalping is that it must be performed on shorter timeframes, this couldn't be further from the truth.

 

You can trade on the 1 minute chart, 1 hour, 4 hour or the daily with my scalping strategy just as effectively. Markets are fractal in nature as I explain in module 2 of my Art of Scalping course.

While most traders were fearful of a market crash, professional traders see this as an opportunity to buy the dip for a nice run up with zero drawdown. Market never went past my entry point.
